Need Help On Health Care?

  • If you are uninsured and/or do not have a primary health care provider and are symptomatic of COVID-19 virus, you can call 2-1-1 for assistance. 2-1-1 is free, confidential, multilingual and available 24-hours a day. You do not have to give your name or personal details to get information
  • If you’ve lost health insurance due to recent loss of employment or if your income is reduced, you can apply for CoveredCA / Medi-Cal through the special enrollment period due to COVID-19
  • Most Health Insurance Providers will waive co-pay for COVID-19  tests, treatments, hospital expenses…  See a summary here.

Need Help For Loss Of Wages?

California EDD will continue to help workers hurt by COVID-19. For instance,

US Small Business Administration (SBA)  provides SBA loans for small business.  You can apply for both of these loans:

Santa Clara County Sacred Heart is providing financial assistance for families effected by the COVID-19 virus:

  • If you are a resident of Santa Clara County, have low income and have loss of income related to COVID-19 impacts due to health, employment, or school/child care closures you may apply for assistance here.  Eligible households will receive direct financial assistance, based on documented loss of income as a result of COVID-19 impacts, up to a maximum of $4,000 of lost income per month.

  • IRS and California State both delayed the deadline for tax filing to July 15, 2020 for individuals and businesses.
